Case measures about 11 ½ " wide DVD player is appropriately 7 ½ inches x 6 ½ inches Power works, system may need repairs ; Battery pack was charged, hooked up to player, switched the player on, the start up screen appears for a second and then the screen goes blank with no response while visibly powered on .
